The Fitzroy Beach webcam is situated at the Fitzroy Surf Life Saving Club on the New Plymouth city coastline in Taranaki, New Zealand. Waiwakaiho is to the right of the camera picture, Back Beach and Surf Highway 45 are to the left, check out the aerial photo Provided By B And M Hut Weather.

On good days you'll see sometimes 20 surfers in the camera view. The Fitzroy Beach surfcam location is a good swell indicator, if there's good surf here at Fitzroy Beach, then Back Beach and the Coast will have good surf too. Fitzroy is best at low to half tide. Swell direction from S to SW, offshore from S to SE.
